Hi, I've decided to have flu injection as I did when I was pregnant with my DD 17 months ago. I've got an appointment tomorrow but I was a little further along when I last had it. I was just wondering if its safe to have it at this early stage and has anyone else had it at this stage aswell

i had mine done last week they said its absolutely safe x

Yep, it is safe for 1st tri. I had mine at around 9-10 weeks.

Yup, safe. My doc is having me wait until 2nd trimester because I got sick the last time I had the flu shot. He just wants to take extra precautions. If you have never had a bad reaction to the shot you should be fine.

I got mine at 12 weeks. But it's safer to get it, becuase if you get sick baby gets sick.

My doc told me to wait till 12-14 weeks to get the shot. I'm sure it's not harmful, but my doctor always likes to be extra safe.

I had mine at 7 weeks, the GP double checked while I was in the room and it's safe at any stage of pregnancy :)
