Hey girls!!!!:hi:
I am currently nearly 11 weeks pregnant and want to know is it true that once you reach your second trimester things like morning sickness, general well being begin to improve.
At the moment I feel so lethargic and generally exhausted I dont want to do anything, I have heard that this improves after your first trimester and wondered what you girls in your second trimester were feeling like????
Thanks

In my 1st tri I was exhausted and I had terrible sickness, but it all sort of disappeared by 14 or 15 weeks. Its different for everyone, but I think its fairly common to start feeling better :) I feel completely back to normal now. The only thing that reminds me Im pregnant is not being able to sqeeze into my old clothes, and feeling Junior wriggling about night and day!

Not long to go now for you though! Youll feel better in no time.

it's true! It's all true!
I started feeling much much better pretty soon afetr week 12 and now even though i am still ready for my bed by 9 or 10 every night I am feeling MUCH better than in weeks 7 - 12.
I feel awake, no sickness!!!!! I sometimes even feel full of beans and excited!!! Hard to believe right now for you I'm sure...but it WILL get better! They're not just telling you stories.
Good luck!!

Oh i so hope its true!!!. I cant really take the tiredness and sickness anymore!!!.:hissy:

I really feel for everyone whos going through it now. It was the most horrible thing ever. I remember just feeling like I had a constant hangover all day every day for 7 or 8 weeks.

I really hope you all start feeling better soon.

Mine is totally different though, my first 12 weeks was ok, i had a bit of nausea, but when i reached 13 weeks i i had nausea and dizzy and it's stronger than before. Some day i have nausea all day ( like today ) and also feel really tired after i did some work, like if i clean the house i will get really tired and that lasts until next morning. I guess i'm just 2 % out of 100. Yesterday i went in the car to a few hotels with my husband and i didn't do anything ( he went to deliver something to his customers ) and when i came back home i just wanted to go to sleep ( well, we had to go out and did more work and i almost collaspe when we were having lunch ), BUT also we live in hot country, Thailand and the heat makes me more tired.

It's true for the majority of people that things improve in the second trimester. You generally feel less tired and the morning sickness/nausea usually disappears.

:happydance: Thankyou for your replies I have more hope now!!!!
I bet living in a hot country is very exhausting my heart goes out to you.

Yes, I feel oh so much better than during my first trimester. I am no longer nauseous, but I am still tired. I can take an hour long nap daily, and sleep 9 hours a night. But I have always been a sleeper.

Every one is different some women dont get sick at all :cloud9:some stay sick the whole time:cry: I had all day sickness minimal vomiting but nauseous
all day every day up until abou 14-16 weeks now I am tired mostly and get indigestion but thats about it I hope you feel well soon:hugs:

I still have morning sickness, though it has improved a HUGE amount. If I get up quickly (for fire calls, EMS calls) or earlier than normal I still get wicked queasy and gag a LOT. I am STILL exhausted ALL the time, and honestly..I have not felt 'good', 'right', 'normal' or 'healthy' through the whole pregnancy. It's totally worth it, but for some people...the 2nd trimester doesn't get any better than the first. I hope yours goes well!

my morning sickness had reduced to the occasional bout of nausea, as for tiredness im still exhastedbut i think that is partly due to being at work xxx
