Is my baby coming soon?

Hi everyone!!
I'm a first timer and trying to figure out if my little man is trying to come. I've already been in the hospital twice because of preterm labor. I'm now 36 weeks and the doc say i'm now allowed to let my body to its thing. Ive been contracting on and off since last friday. A lot of cramping and discomfort. I've also all of a sudden started pooping 4 times a day (sorry). My discharge is getting different too. I think I might have lost my mucus plug in pieces yesterday. There was no blood, but it was litterally like snot (sorry again). Last time I was checked i was almost 2 cm (they said they could stretch to a 2 but didn't want to) 80%, and -2. Is this all just stuff I get to endure for the next month or is he working on something? Thanks to anyone who takes the time to help me out . Have a wonderful day!!

That sounds like your plug to me, combined with the other symptoms all sounds promising, so yeah I would imagine it will be soon. Dont forget to grab some rest in all the excitement, you will be needing that energy hun. Hope you have a great birth experience!

That's about where I was 3 days before I had my boy. He was born at 37 weeks.

For weeks before I was in labor I had dark brown mucusy snotty stuff coming out when I wiped. Thought it was the bloody show but just slowwwly losing the mucus plug. when I was actually in labor there was a big quarter sized red bloody mucusy thing, So....don't let the mucusy stuff excite you too much yet! Even if its not labor, before u know it a few weeks will pass and the baby will come!
