fluffy, did you take clomid? Megg, I believe you took soy again, so it might apply to you too. I was looking for info for myself and found this:

A: In a word, no . . . but that doesn't mean they don't tell you something. Clomid often causes elevated BBTs around the time of taking the medication, and it appears to be more common to have a triphasic BBT on medications without pregnancy. It is also more common to have a long luteal phase without pregnancy. Other monitoring is more reliable when on medication.

Part of the point is lengthening the LP by way of a stronger ovulation... that's why girls with low progesterone are often put on it even if they regularly ovulate. However, 25 days isn't a normal LP on any medication. I mean 17-18 is considered about as long as any LP should ever go... meds or not. If it regularly resulted in almost 4 week LP's, it doubt it would be used much! LOL I don't think it's the soy... I really don't... but it's another possibility I guess. Thanks!

Hi FBbaby, no, not on any meds. Was the first cycle that I tried new vitamins though. I did a bit of reading on the net and ended up following this https://www.drmarilynglenville.com/infertility.htm and taking Vit b6, b12, C, zinc and folic acid at the reccommended levels. OH is taking the same too. Bless.

Cant believe that I was previously having trouble with short LP length! I went from my shortest of 9 days to a whopping 24!!! Will continue with vits but if same happens this month then will rethink!

I did go to the docs this morning and she thinks that either didnt ovulate or was pregnant. Im quite certain I did O from my chart and surely cant have been pregnant with BFN at 24dpo.She didnt seem to fussed. Im not sure I like her anymore.

Anyhow, will try and forget the last few weeks and start on the next cycle x
