Is temp dip usually the day before O?

This might be a bit of a silly question especially as I've been doing this for ages but anyway!

Is a pre O temp dip usually the day before you ovulate or on the day?

My chart is totally out of whack this month due to being poorly but I've recovered now so I know the temp dip is there big style, just not sure on exactly when it would then expect you to O.

The temp dip normally occurs on the day of O. That's why it's normally used to just confirm O. It would be nice if it was the day before though so we could get some BDing in lol

Thanks lovely It makes sense as I had a lot of twinges earlier like O pain so I'm guessing I caught the last of my positive on the OPK! xx
