everyone keeps telling me that soon i will be glowing and feel great, they say it wont be long now... but all i still want to do is stay in bed all day and i still feel ill. im coming up for 16weeks is this normal? or am i just being lazy and need to stop lazing about and go somewhere? will i feel like me again or do u just feel generaly rubbish during the whole pregnancy and this "glowing stage" ive herd of is just nonsence? lol or is it just me who feels like this?
thanks xx

I am sure you will start feeling better about yourself. I am 24 nearly 25 weeks and i am lovely it! I have now got some comfortable clothes and I feel great about my self. bump is getting bigger. you will notice when your glowing as people will tend to comment on how you look. be worth the wait once you feel yourself. then you can enjoy it.

Sometimes you need to push yourself to do things and you do feel better once you have got up and sorted yourself out!!!

I work 50 hours a week and have to make myself!!

Ha ha i felt like that too...no wait i still often do and i was no way lazy before!! I've not got to this so called 'glowing' bit yet though

I definately never went through the glowing thing

Everyone says to me 'Tone, your really glowing' i do feel really great, but i have to get out to feel good, if im at home in bed all day i feel awful!

"Are your friends saying you have that pregnancy glow? It's only one of many skin changes you may experience during pregnancy due to hormonal changes and the stretching of your skin to accommodate a larger body. Pregnant women experience an increase in blood volume to provide extra blood flow to the uterus and to meet the metabolic needs of the fetus. They also have increased blood flow to their other organs, especially the kidneys. The greater volume brings more blood to the vessels and increases oil gland secretion."

My husband says I'm glowing, but I think he's full of shit.

I think some women find the glowing stage, we'll just have to search for it together!

Hasn't happened to me yet :( In fact, I felt better in first tri and its slowly going downhill lol
