HELP!!!

My doc told me I have a blighted ovum and will have to remove the sac on Wednesday. The sac will be measuring 6weeks though I will be 8weeks then.
He told me that I dont need d&c to remove it. He will do something else at the appointment that doesnt need Anaesthesia neither needs more than 5 seconds... the only thing he told me is that he will have something sucking out the sac in less than 3 seconds..

I dont remember its name. Does anyone know about this? I am scared that it does hurt!!!!!!!!!!

I will call tomorrow and ask someone at his office about this procedure!!
I am a coward, I get scared from everything

The only other thing I've heard of is just waiting for it to pass, and I know that hurts. But, if he's putting you under anaesthetic I think you should be alright.

There is no Anaesthesia ! :(

What would it be? How on earth did I forget it's name!?
I will call tomorrow to ask.

your body can pass it naturally i think doc should give u option of passing naturally or d&c
but it should be up to u

I chose a natural m/c when it happened last yr, it happened a week after i 1st started to bleed.
I was quite far gone and i had to pass the fetus which wasnt a very nice experience so ide def talk to ur doc 1st.
Im sorry to hear of ur news Suzan.
:hugs:

I was advised i could have a D&C, medication to bring on the miscarriage or let it happen naturally. I let it happen naturally but it was painful and there was a lot of bleeding think if i had the option again i'd opt for a D&C.
