Is there any hope?

Hi, I'm new here, currently 7 weeks pg after blighted ovum in June 09 and I'm sure its happening again.

I was very sick last week and then three days ago felt suddenly felt fine no sickness, no sore boobs, do I have any chance of things being ok? I have an early scan on Sunday but don't expect good news.

Hey SEA, its impossible to say whether the lack of sickness means its happening again. All you can do is try not to worry and sit tight for your scan. I really hope that everything is ok for your this time and that your worry is for nothing. I am only 4+5 after an MMC in October 2009 and trying my hardest to stay positive this time (easier said than done I know). Good luck and let us know how you get on. xxx

I am sure you will be fine hun, I had awfull sickness then at 8 weeks it just stopped. A few days later I started getting morning sickness again but that soon stopped.

Let us know how the scan goes hun & try not to worry

Yes try not to worry i know its hard. I had really bad symptoms up until 10 weeks and then they just vanished im now 19weeks. It is very common for your symptoms to start to trail off. Also with the boobs you might just be getting you used the pain or worrying and imagining its not there when it is. Hope everything goes well on sunday

I agree with the other ladies, I've had days go by with no sickness, thinking this is it I've m/c'd again...only to have it come back with a vengence...put me in the hospital for dehydration. At my 8 week scan I hadn't had m/s for a few days and my boobs didn't hurt, they didn't look as swollen and I just knew it was gonna be bad news...but it wasn't...I'm 10 weeks 6 days and still get scared on days when I have no symptoms! I don't think that fear ever goes away. I'll pray for you and hope that everything is going good with you little one.

Symptoms can come and go, but I know how much you want to rely on them to judge how things are going. After a MC in September and ectopic in February, I can tell you there IS hope! I've had no symptoms at all and I saw our baby's heartbeat today! Hope everything goes well at your scan. Let us know!

Thank you all for your kind words, I'm just finding it hard to be positive. The doctors made me do a test yesterday which was extremly faint (I know this isn't a great indicator of how things are going) but they didn't seem hopeful and I feel less pregnant everyday.

I just have to wait it out, I don't bleed without help as my body doesn't want to let go

I will let you know what happens on sunday and I wish all you ladies have a H&H 8/9 months xx

Well I'm back and completely stunned, we had a baby with a heartbeat, all measuring the right size I can't believe it.

Fantastic news!!! I had a blighted ovum picked up at 11+3 in my 1st pg. Now 13+2 and everything going good. The worry never goes away but try to enjoy your preg and not worry too muchxxx
