We've only had the canines cut about a month ago, which are now a good bit through the gum. I thought we may get a break but I suspect 'the big ones' may be starting already.

Things aren't too bad but we have a sniffly/snotty nose (did have a cold a few weeks ago but is lingering). She is biting on her bottle/cup, messing with her ears occasionally and has crying fits where she just doesn't seem to know what she wants. Plus her already cr@p eating is getting worse again! She will ask for some kind of food but then won't take, ask for something else, refuse it and on and on. How long do these ones take to come in?

Could well be. My lo has just started cutting his very last one! He has been randomly crying, and throwing tantrums over nothing. He just developed a nappy rash out of nowhere, which made me check his gum, and sure enough the front and back of the tooth have cut through. Oh and yeah the snotty nose is driving me mad.
It takes my lo a while to fully cut the molars, maybe 6w before the middle is finally through.

I'm trying to remember that far back! :haha: My LO cut all her teeth (2yr molars included) well before 2yrs... I DO remember her canines were the worst. The rest weren't that bad- and I didn't even notice her molars till they already popped through! oops.

I do know (from personal experience with my wisdom teeth coming in later in life)- that it really only hurts right before they cut- then, once they are starting to come in, the pain is minimal (if at all). Can't say LO's experience the exact same- but from what I'm told (via dentist) it's similar.

They do take a while to fully come in though- like several weeks... so hopefully once they cut through all is good :hugs:

F's got two of his 2yr molars through (at 21 mths). To be honest I didn't realise that he was teething, though in hindsight he bit holes in every single bottle teat we own, and for the last month his sleep was a bit unsettled (but nowhere like before). He hasn't needed medicine and it was only because he had started trying to bite me (which he's not done in a seriously long time) that I looked properly at his mouth! I agree with pp. Canines definitely were the worst (though they were pretty quick).
