Is this a period? 4 & a half weeks pp

I'm not breastfeeding and not yet on the contraceptive pill, and my postnatal bleeding had almost come to an end. Then yesterday I noticed a bit of period pain and upon going to the toilet last night, I was losing light pink discharge, like the start of a period. I also feel achey around my middle like I do when my period is about to start. Is it possible? How do I know for sure?!

It could be, or it could be like mine did, i bled for a few weeks, then lightened up, and then stopped, then i would do something like grocery shopping or cleaning and it would start again...my ob said that it is normal for the bleeding to do that and she wasnt worried...i had actually stopped for about a week at around 5 weeks pp and had some bright red bleeding, which i thought was my period, but it only lasted a day, so it might have just been more pp bleed...i did get the depo shot at my 6 week followup, and my first "normal" period when i should get it has been super light, just longer than before i was pregnant (7 days vs 5 super heavy days)...i felt silly getting birth control as i only have one good tube and it took alot of medical intervention on both mine and hubby's parts to get our little girl..but i REALLY want to have the side effect of amenorrhea

I'd had the stop starting with the postnatal bleeding, then it slowed to mainly just a clear discharge, sometimes with a pinkish tinge. This bleeding is different and I'm also extremely moody and irritable like I am when I'm on my period. It's very light compared to normal periods though?!
