Today and last night Caine has puked quite a bit.....

After a feed when I put him down, after winding him, he lays and grunts with his legs up for ages then I pick him up wind him etc and a bit comes up

But he has started puking today more than usual and then I picked him up and another massive burp

Its like he is trying to push a pooh out but he isnt then gets upset!

If it is wind / colic probs, I got the infacol so will give it him, but only if he needs it....

What do you think? xx

given he's bein sick maybe it's reflux? I don't know that much about reflux i'm afraid as we never really had an issue. We did have colic though, my daughter would be very unsettled and upset pulling her legs up to her tummy especially in the evenings.

theres a few 'reflux mummies' on here hopefully one will stop by x

Thanks everyone. Reflux sounds a bit more serious ??!!

I will keep an eye on it for a few days then ring the HV if I think he has it xx

my LO has a very small reflux prob puke, hiccups. i would say it is a small reflux prob and i wouls say the legs curled up to the stomach is just his age he has just spent the last 4 month curled up inside you :) my LO still loves to be curled up thinking he is all safe inside :).

ask your HV next time you see her if your at all worried but i wouldnt give him anything that hasnt been OKed by your doc as colic has not been diagnosed.

Doesnt sound like colic to me either.

Have you eaten or drank anything unusual today?? I found cottage cheese made Hebe puke when she's never normally sick.

x

Generally a baby is considered colicky if he/she is otherwise healthy and reasons for crying (hunger etc) have been ruled out and he/she cries intensely for three or more days a week for three or more hours for three or more weeks in a month.

Not sure, is the milk formed from yhesterdays or todays food?

I had lots of orange juice but normally have that anyway  xx

I think it depend what it is as to how quick it shows up in your milk. I ate cottage cheese that time at lunch time and she puked all afternoon and was fine in the morning. It didnt register with me but I had it the following day and the same thing happened.
Have you had anythinf you dont normally have?? Even if it's not an unusual food sa such?? No sprouts or baked beans??

1 of the things i remember my mw warning me about was not to eat too much garlic/spices, chocolate or drink too much orange juice or caffeine. maybe you should try a day or two less the oj and see if it improves any? Least you can rule it out then.

Oooops I ate lots of choc the last 2 days
