So I will be 24 weeks pregnant on Monday...and for a couple weeks I have had a slight discomfort when laying on my back...which I only do when I read...my head up on a pillow....when I go to switch from left side to right side in bed that one second I am on my back I get a pain like pressure...and usually it makes me get up to go pee...so I figure..well...gas or just bladder being squashed...no biggie.

Well the last week it has escalated to where I feel very full of gas...I try to lay on my left side to get some out...and I am going #2 pretty regular so not constipated. I sometimes feel so much pressure that it's uncomfortable to sit in a chair...and when I sit on the toilet if I lean forward its painful. If I lay on my back to read...propped up enough I am ok...but if I move down too much where I am too flat I start getting real bad pains...and then it gets to where I can't even move it hurts so bad...and I have to find a way to get onto my side to relieve the pain...last night I had it happen and it was like a spasm from right above pubic bone to the belly button...like a super intense wave of pain...I almost woke my husband up and told him to help me get onto my side...but I managed.

I had an ob/gyn and an ultrasound appt this week and both went well...my cervix is closed and the baby looks great. Neither doctor seemed concerned. I have had round ligament, where when I walk I get a sharp pain on my left side of my abdomen...but not sure if thsi could be another manifestation of round ligament. I was just curious if anybody else had experienced this...is it a phase? Will it get better? I just took a shower and after I was done I had trouble leaning down to dry off my legs and feet because of the pressure. UGH!
