is this normal or should I be worried

my little boy was taking 5 steps but the other day he was climbing to stand at the sofa and slipped and banged his head he seemed fine after it was two days ago and ever since as soon as you stand him up he gets back down, I've been trying to encourage him to do steps like before but nothing he will just sit back down and crawl away. I thought it might have knocked his confidence maybe?

Most likely yes, especially if he hasn't bumped his head before. It has probably scared him.

I would try not to push the issue too much and let him find his feet again when he is ready.

They are very sensitive. My LO once choked on a fast flow of milk while breastfeeding and went on nursing strike for a week!

thanks for the post, he has came down with a cold so that could possibly be why I am taking him to the Drs tomorrow to make sure he doesn't have a ear infection too.

Hope not, but if he does, it might be affecting his balance and making him feel less confident standing up!
