Is this normal?

To begin with, I am a first time mom who is still discovering the world of babyhood.

My boy is gonna turn 11 months in 25 September. For the last 1-2 months, I've noticed him stares at one of us humans for maybe 10-15 seconds. Just stares. It's kind of like being out of the moment maybe? Daydream? Or maybe processing his moment? I have no idea. I am just wondering why he does that? Is it normal? Anyone's LO does this too?

My kids have always done this when tired. They tend to stare and glaze over. Maybe make a note of whether he does it when he is over stimulated or due for a nap? It has always been one of our sleepy cues.
