Sorry ladies first baby and i just wanted to know if the way im planning on making up and storing bottles is ok?

Boil kettle (fresh water) then add required amount to bottles then add formula straight away and shake. Do i put straight in fridge to cool or do i cool with running water? (Confused about this part)

Then put in fridge ready for warming with a jug of hot water when needed.

I'd probably make four bottles up at a time.

Can someone tell me how to cool the bottles and if the rest is ok?

Thanks :flower:

Don't cool in the fridge!! This heats up the rest of the fridge (why is this the third time today I've explained not putting hot things in the fridge?)

I do 3 at a time, I run the cold tap and then make one, put it under, make second put it under, third, then I fill the sink with the water (shake and put first then second and third under water running while it fills).

Yep - make up bottles as you describe, place in cold water bath to cool, change water every few minutes if you're making up a few at a time as the water will heat. Pnce cool dry outside of bottles and place in the fridge, preferably in the back of a shelf.
