Hmph. Well since you've just stopped BCP like 6 months ago I'd say it's probably just a wacky cycle (mine is still wacky 14 months later ). I would suggest temping/charting, that way you can track your luteal phase and make sure it isn't always so short. It's really easy, and I'll admit it's annoying at first, but you get into the habit quickly. I really didn't think it would "work", but my temps clearly showed ovulation last cycle. It can give you lots of good info!
Looks positive to me. What day of your cycle was that? Is it possible that you were pregnant? I know sometimes being pregnant can lead to a positive OPK because LH is chemically similar to HCG (or something? I forget). If this last period was on time, maybe you had a miscarriage?? Maybe more likely to just be a wacky cycle...
