So baby boy is amazing at sleeping - of course every day/week has been different but now he sleeps in moses at most nap times and last 2 nights slept from 9pm-4am! I have a toddler so am well aware this can change at any moment!

However, in the last 24 hours (I know it's not long but just want to nip it in the bud if it is something - esp when things were so good) he has been waking after 5 minutes of feeding and not being settled unless he's feeding. Earlier I put him in his moses asleep and he kept waking every 2 minutes with a cry then going back to sleep and did this for 30 minutes before waking up cryinh properly. Normally I can burp him (if he hasn't already burped on my boob!) and after a 10 minute upright rest put him down for a good sleep. But today he's been waking constantly. He seems frustrated too - arching away from me etc and crying if not on boob. Any ideas?

Hi there is a big growth spurt at 6 weeks so that could be why he is being a little fussy. I remember this being a tough one for us. Your LO is such a good sleeper. My one year old still doesnt sleep that long. lol. xx

It sounds just like a growth spurt. Always wanting to feed but grumpy as they want to sleep as its hard on them growing. After 2 reflux babies I can't say that its reflux. Both mine had projectile vomiting, grunting, squirming, a cough and constant hiccups. Xxx

Thank you ladies! He seemed better yesterday although is coughing but has just started to get a cold

Aah bless him. I hope he is feeling better soon. Xx
