So ended up at hospital last night with intense back pains and some contractions, baby wasn’t even low down yet and I’m not dialated at all (she could only get a finger tip in my cervix.....was a long night for nothing was probably examined at about 3.30am (I didn’t want to go to hospital, just called for advice re pain but they asked me to go down)

So I’ve just been to the loo and wiped and found discharge with browny blood in it and I don’t know whether it’s the ‘show’ or just cause they were poking about??

Didn’t have any kind of show with my son so hoping one of u guys will not be too grossed out to look at this xx

I would say it’s the start of it especially if they have been poking around !

I only had a show with DD1 after having a sweep , DD2 just woke up with intense contractions !

Thanks ladies....other than the odd niggle I’ve not had any wee contractions or anything so I think it’s probably just from them examining me early hours this morning. I’m 37 weeks tomoro and this little bubba has been less than cooperative through this whole pregnancy, i’ll no doubt go all the way over, have to be induced and he’ll have to be dragged out lol xxx

I lost something similar after they poked around at 36 weeks due to contractions. She said a bit of blood like that was normal after poking around.
But then I got the actual bloody show about a week later. And that was A LOT. Like, palm of my hand big.
