Is too much protein a problem?

Im dieting with My fitness plan. Currently aiming to loose 2lbs a week.

However I never get within my protein aim. Today im twice over but im having chicken tonight. Ive never been any less than 15% over.
Totals 1,073 105 36 63
Your Daily Goal 1,250 172 42 47
Remaining 177 67 6 -16
Calorie Carbs Fat Protein

So that is what today looks like and it includes my main meal planned in.

I am aware that my body doesnt process carbs well at all due to my PCOS/insulin resistance. I am currently on a bit of a 'crash' diet for two weeks, well another 5 days as i needed to be a certain weight for my holiday.

Help? I dont really know what my body is doing with protein, is it turning it into fat?
 
If you eat too much of anything then you'll gain weight however on those calories/ratios of protein/fat/carbs you'll not be gaining fat. Beware of crash dieting though as you'll end up screwing up your metabolism.
