Is Twitchy Eye A Symptom?

I've been having twitching eye for a few days and I am 5dpo. Could this possibly be an early sign of pregnancy? I know it sounds crazy, but after doing some googling, it looks like other ladies had these during the first couple of weeks of pregnancy.

Anyone else had this and went on to get BFP?

It's funny that you posted this because my eye was twitching today and I started wondering the same thing. (I'm about 9dpo).

I will say that during my 1st pregnancy my right arm was twitching for a week or more before I knew I was pregnant. It was really odd and I don't know if it was due to pregnancy, but it was definitely something I noticed due to it being so annoying!

this is so weird cos my left eye has been twitchy too, lets hope theese weird signs are positive ones x

I had my bfp over a week ago and had twitchy right eye for a week, would not go away, I didnt even think it might have been a symtpoms, but i suppose it could have been, it was relentless...lol

Haha! My left eye has been relentlessly twitching for over 2 weeks now, it's driving me crazy but I got my BFP 2 days ago, so it's a bizarre one, but maybe! It's funny, as I also had wicked bad thigh cramps on the left side too and I'm pretty sure that's the side I ovulated from, been feeling implantation cramps more on that side too. Our bodies are mental, aren't they?!

It wasn't a symptom for me but congrats on the Twitchy Eye BFPs!!

I only had this for like a day or two, so I knew it was probably just from general tiredness for me, but good luck to you, ebelle! xx

I'm really hoping that it is a symptom of BFP for you all.

However I get twitchy eye and when I spoke to my optician I was told that in my particular case it was a symptom of stress. So make sure you chill out and take care of yourselves ladies

i had a twitchy eye in my 2ww im now 33weeks, dont know if it was a symptom but never had it with non bfp months , good luck hun xx

I had it too last month it drove me nuts I was told it was from stress or tired... BUT I have heard that the eye twitching was one of the first signs they had when they got their Good Luck ladies... Hope to be joining you soon

Personally, I think it's just co-incidence. I get twitchy eye, fingers etc every now and again for almost my entire adulthood! if it was a symptom of pregnancy then we'd have lots of pregnant men out there too!!!

When we're in this horrible 2WW I think we often see anything as a symptom lol.

im having the twitchy eye, im in the 2ww bd'd this weekend 6 days ago so fingers crossed, ps i feel sooooo sick but would be suprised to be having morning sickness this early. unless i am pg from last month but i had my af for 5 days so im considerin that as a normal period? i dunno ill wait another 2 weeks to test

Morning sickness started for me at around 6 Weeks. The twitchy eye turned out not to be a symptom for me that month. Hope this helps.

I heard the same thing too, stress causes it BUT It is a early pregnancy symptom I'm a googleholic.. I'm waiting for blood work tomorrow..
