It might have to wait..need advice asap please!

ugh. I just talked with the nurse tonight and we went over all the details of the D&C tomorrow. She asked about my health and all that. I'm generally healthy, but have a heart flutter once in a while. That's all I said, and she said that they might need to do more investigation on that so it could delay the procedure.

I'm glad they are being careful, I'm scared enough already of the procedure, now I'm worried about that? Nothing will ever make this ok or take my worries away, but I feel like I'm just going crazy.

Anyone else know what I'm talking about or had a similar thing?

Ive had a heart condition since birth, and not long ago had heart surgery but i was still allowed to go ahead with the d&c xx

Usually they can investigate it right before the procedure, do an ekg or such, I could be wrong but if it isn't a major heart condition they usually just will err on the side of caution and have you on a monitor during the procedure. I wish you the best in this time.

totally agree what i was going to say lol. hun i hope it doesnt get delayed as i know how hard all this waiting around must be for you. x

Ya, I don't think it's a big deal. It's nothing that even comes up with my dr, I just remember asking about it once in a while. She said at the most that they would do the procedure in an OR if it called for it, which meant rescheduling.

Maybe part of me wants to stall this process still to be honest. It's all been so fast.
