SO we had our gender ultrasound the other day. hubby was convinced it was a boy and i wanted a boy BAD!

its a girl. i knew it was. i told hubby to get ready to hear its a girl. the tech said it looks like a girl. so now i have to change my color scheme but not MUCH.
on the bright side i have a 7 year old daughter and so weve been pulling out old clothes. ive gotten rid of or lost most of the baby stuff though:(

hubby is not upset and very excited! is it bad to say im a little disappointed? dont get me wrong im SO lucky and so blessed. im just a bit disappointed as i wanted a boy and ive already done the girly thing

my DD is so happy though LOL AND they can share a room as she has bunk beds if the need arises. im just wondering if we do try again for a boy what are our chances?? will we just have all girls? lol

we had a CUTE gender reveal !!! and is anyone else GAINING everywhere!!!! i was so fit and tiny and now im feeling so huge!!!

Congrats hun on your little girl! Me and Hubby know your feeling all too well, we have two boys and would have liked a girl but it wasn't to be as we found out we are having another boy. We are blessed and will love this baby just as much but like you it would have been nice to have a little girl

I think disappointment can be completely normal , congratulations on team pink. Lovely reveal!

Congratulations!

I do totally understand how you feel. I have had my scan this morning, and I found out I am having a boy.
Although I knew it all along, as this pregnancy is very similar to my son's.
But I was hoping that it would still be a little girl.

It's just been sinking in today, and I know I love him already! But I have those cute girly dresses and hair clips, and lovely names already thought out. booo!

My only thought now is that he seems a bit smaller than my other two, but all well :)

Agreed on the gender reveal! Sweet!

I must admit i did 'try' for a second boy (BD within the ovulation window and diet change) as I knew this would be my last and luckily we got him. I think if I was told girl at our 20 week I would have had some shock and slight disappointment to. Mainly because Im not girly... In any way, I'm not close to my mother so I don't understand the bond and was terrified I'd be a crap mum to a girl. As for your question, I think your chances are always good if you decided to have another.

normal. i have 2 boys and found out this one is another boy and im disappointed. but not so much anymore as i'm 28 weeks and getting a bit more excited.

thanks all! i feel much better about it now. im very excited and so is my hubby and little girl. i just cant wait till shes here so i can lose this weight ive gained!!! lol

Lovely gender reveal :D

I haven't had any gender disappointment yet.. maybe for the briefest moment with my last but only because I was so sure he was a girl and hadn't really considered otherwise but I was soon fine about it. I've got 3 boys and a girl, my daughter was my third. We find out about this one in a week and I guess I'd really love a girl so much that I'm worried I may feel some slight disappointment if we are told boy. But my boys are fab and I know if there is any sadness it won't last long. Just want baby to be healthy.

Congrats on your pink bump! :D
