IUI Cycle Buddy (Clomid + Injectables)

Hi everyone,

I will be starting my third, and final, IUI cycle and would like a buddy through this tough month. I am on day 1 of my cycle, and will be seeing my RE on Monday for a prescription for clomid. I will be using injectables and possibly the HSG shot (first time). Oh how i hope this works

If this doesn't work, its off to the IVF world...

Awesome! Are you taking clomid this cycle as well? Which days are you taking them if so?

Im doing 100 on days 3-7 then a trigger shot. I had my hsg yesterday and my re thinks there may be a polyp in my uterus that could hinder implantation... so if I don't get pg this month I have to have surgery. So im keeping my fingers crossed. How much are you on?

During my last IUI cycle, I did 100 on days 5-9, then injectables on days 9, 11, and 13. I will be seeing my RE tomorrow and will get the plan for this month. I wasn't able to do anything the last 2 cycles because I had developed some cysts, so I'm crossing my fingers that they are completely gone now.. :/

Hi LS2011,

My appointment went well No cysts!! YAY!!!

So I will do clomid day 5-9, then injectables day 9,11 and 13. I'm going to go back on CD14 for an ultrasound. My doctor said that the trigger shot will not help prevent cysts to occur but said that it will be harmless and I will do it for my peace of mind.

How are you doing? What day are you on?

I have 5 follicles measuring 15-16 so im getting re scaned on tuesday. Im usually a day 13 O but no +i'll yet. Im just so worried my doc is going to miss it!

What day are you on now?

By Tuesday, your follicles should be 19-20 mm! Awesome number!!
Have you thought about the trigger shot? I will do one this month just to make sure we dont missed by O.

Right now im day 13. I feel some cramps so imworried that I am ovulating right now!!!! I am doing a rigged...but it wont do me any good if I already O'ed. I just feel like its one thing after another

i know how you feel. You should contact your RE in the morning and schedule an ultrasound to ease your mind. I felt like that a few months ago and discovered that clomid sometimes gives you a false lh surge on CD 12 and you think you have ovulated when in fact you havent. Are you using ovulation kits as well? Have you noticed a change?

yeah i do OPK's but im a dummy and forgot to do it friday morning (day 11) and so i did it that night but not positive since then... im just tired of all the waiting ya know and I dont want to wait another month... but then its like if I go in tomorrow and they are still in there they still might not be big enough!

So I went for a US. 18mm and they are all still there so I guess the pain is due to crowding . Triggering tomorrow night for iui thursday

You have one more day left.. YAY! Awesome news Good luck! Will you be on bed rest after the IUI? I didnt on the last two, but will be this time around...

I have one more day of my injectables then a doctor's visit on Friday morning. If all goes well, I will be told to trigger on either Sunday or Monday. Ive never done a trigger shot but will be trying this month.. fingers crossed it works.

Just did my first iui with acupuncture. No bedrest for me. I did a trigger. I didn't even feel the needle and only felt the meds a little bit. Hoping for the best--- for you and me!

On Friday (CD14) I had 2 follicles (11mm and 14mm) so I will go back on Monday for another ultrasound. My body isnt as responsive as it was last time so I did another injection last night

I will probably do the IUI on Wednesday...
