I finally joined today! I have visited several times but never joined.

I am 32 and we have been TTC for 5 years. I will try to make a long story short: DH 31 yrs old, SA Normal
Me: Thyroid normal, eggs normal, HSG Normal, irregular cycles 28-34, periods last 1-2 days with heavy bleeding the first day,Ovulate days 16-22, never been pregnant YET

We stopped using birth control the summer we got married, 2008.

We started to get worried by 2010, but we thought the cause was due to the stress we had both been under. I started to mention my worries to my OBGYN, she recommended we see a fertility specialist.

My DH and I wanted to get pregnant naturally. So we continued ttc the "old fashioned way" and with loads of vitamins, exercise and BD.

2011 I started trying herbs like vitex and primrose. I read books and online articles on infertility cures. That summer my OBGYN gave me a 3 month supply of clomid. The side effects were terrible and BFN each month.

2012 We decided to go to a fertility specialist. Both our exams came out normal across the board and we were labeled as "Unknown cause of infertility".

They wanted us to begin three rounds of IUI.

Any advice about IUIs?

I want to pay out of pocket for a Hormone Blood and Saliva work up. Has anyone tried that? Is it worth the $?

I am trying to stay POSITIVE :happydance: but some days I am miserable
