Hi girls,
It's been 3 months since my ERPC following my missed miscarriage. In some ways it seems longer!
I feel like I am moving on fairly well and my hubby and I have been TTC since February.
Mentally I feel stronger, although admittedly I do feel stressed ever so easily and have to tell myself to calm down
Physically I am feeling fairly well. My last few :witch: have been odd. Fairly regular but I get pains at odd times of the month that I never had before.
However. This may sound petty but I look bloody awful. My eyes are ridiculously puffy. It's not from crying, lack of sleep, drinking too much or any of those usual things. I didn't have this before my miscarriage and I can't get rid of it. I read somewhere online this morning that puffy eyes can be a symptom of hormones and pregnancy.
Is anyone else getting this? If so, what can I do about it?
Thanks

I read that hemarroid cream works wonders on puffy eyes, but never tried it. Celebs do it apparantly! I think its a bit crazy! Drinking lots of water helps mine, I was a bit puffy after my MC - dont know why. Hope that helps! Sorry if its a bit mad!

Hi-ya
Yeah it does sound a bit crazy. But I tried that yesterday  didn't work I'm afraid. Seem to make me more puffy

Hey Orange lady... sorry to hear that you look "ten years older" (they could make a TV programme with that title!).

Could you treat yourself to a new haircut? I know it sounds stupid, but it could give you a boost.

As for the puffy eyes, I've heard that cold teabags can help. Never tried them... but worth a shot?

I've heard that if you freeze used teabags and then put them on your eyes, it's supposed to be good. It's also supposed to make your eyes look brighter. You have to put 2 tea bags into boiling water as if you were making tea, then leave them in the water for 5 minutes, then squeeze some of the tea out, then put them in the freezer for 10-15 minutes so they are cold but not frozen. I heard this years ago and I used to do it and it definitely seemed to make my eyes look a lot bluer. I've never suffered from puffy eyes though but I assume that the freezing helps to take that down x
