I've Been Bad.. Any Repercussions?

Yikes... So I was supposed to go for my 6 week checkup.... 4 weeks ago!! The day before, I called and canceled, and said I'd call back to reschedule. I never did. I know I need a pap, but can go to my regular doc for this. I wanted to get an IUD tho, instead of the pill, and my regular doc will only give a referral to an OB for this, she wont do it herself. So if I want that, I'm gonna have to give up and go to my OB.

Trouble is, I have bad feelings against her still. As immature as that might sound, I cant help but feel she convinced me into an unnecessary c-section. I am completely confident that if she would have induced me on the day of my section instead, that I would have had a vaginal birth. She told me at my 38 week appointment that I wasn't dilated at all, but then after my c-section told me I had dilated. (Didn't specify how much, but said that I had). So should I just grin and bear it, and go see her for the IUD? Me and DH have been using condoms for contraception and we hate them. I really hate the pill, but I'm almost tempted just to go on that again so that I dont have to see my OB.



Am I being completely ridiculous and irrational?

I would go to a different OB. There's no reason that you have to go back to that one. If you don't mind the drive over the mountain I would recommend my OB or the one that delivered Izzie they are both great!

Good idea ladies. I hadn't really thought about going to a different one. My GP does my paps every year, so I didn't really think about switching until we have another baby. I guess I will ask my doctor for a referral to a different one. Dont know what I would do without you ladies!
