Sorry its taken so long for me to update but I have been so tired and getting to know my new daughter.

I went for a curry on Saturday with my OH and parents, woke up at 4.30am with pains that were coming every 30 mins and quite strong. Dad ran me a bath at 11.30 and the pains then stopped.

I went home abbout 8pm Sunday and had a letter off the landlord saying that I owed him money, so I went into a fit of rage with hormones!

At 11.30 I started getting pains but not as bad, 4.30am again I woke up with pains and they were coming every 30 mins. My OH ran me a bath at 5.30 and they then started coming every 10 minutes.

OH rang my Mum and she came to pick me up, she thought it might have been a false alarm but when I was in the car she got a shock! AND she offered me a McDonalds brekkie! Who in the right mind would do that haha.

I got to my Mums and she made me a cup of tea, as I was on all fours calling her all sorts cos she told me labour doesnt hurt, well I got a shock haha.

I couldnt have my OH touch me as I couldnt stand the thought, I kept telling him to shush which he hates but when pain went I apologised.

Mum left for work at 7.30am and told me Dad is upstairs and he would take me the hospital if needs be (she was back for 9am) as soon as she went the pains came every 5 mins, so it was straight to the hospital.

I arrived at the hospital and they informed me I was 2cm dilated which was good and I had lost all my plug which I never knew and my cervix was paper thin and that it had turned so the hard part was over.

I was put on a monitor and thats when the back ache started. A doctor came to see me and as I had high blood pressure and protein in my urine they said they wanted to induce me, well I shit it, I actually asked them for magic cream to numb my hands as I am needle phobic. I was told to come back at 1.30 to be transffered to labour ward.

I called my Mum and told her I was getitng induced and then my OH took me for lunch. I have never been so scared on my life.

I went back up and I was moved to a ward as labour ward was very busy. Somehow I managed to sleep and my OH said I was contracting whilst I was sleeping.

I went for a walk cos I wasnt contracting much, went outside to ring my Mum and thats when it started, I couldnt walk. I then went back upto the ward and was asked my midwife if they I was ready to go have my baby. I nearly fainted through fear.

I then arrived at the ward at 9 pm (12 hours after I arrived at hospital) and was taking into my room and had 2 lovely midwives but they were changing shifts. I had to get my waters broken by a male doctor, not going to lie it hurt me but it was done.

Pains come more often and I was told I was 3cm so didnt contract much in the 12 hours I was there.

By this time I was only on paracetemol and codene, after this I asked for diamorphine and gas and air. Let me tell you ladies its AMAZING!

All I kept on saying was I needed a poo haha, kept on saying also I was Darth Vader.

I was getting examined to be told I was fully dilated and I was ready so I pushed and at 3.53am my baby girl was born. She was 7lbs 1oz and is perfect, love her so much. Cant believe I slept through my contractions!!!
