IVF - Daily POAS Project

Hello ladies....

I haven't seen anyone else do this experiment so I thought I would post a new thread, hope this is ok.

We are in the middle of our second ICSI cycle. We're Male Factor so there is a chance we find no sperm the day after tomorrow and then this project will stop short but if not, I thought it was time I put my compulsive HPT testing abilities to the test and test right after the trigger HGC shot!

Normally women don't test till their clinic tells them so or till they can't stand the wait anymore and then they wonder if the trigger shot is not what causes faint positives as they never checked if it left their system. Not yours truly, I have cheapie ICs and not afraid to use them

I'll POAS tonight and then every morning. If everything goes to plan we'll see a BFP that goes increasingly fainter and then a couple of BFNs before another BFP! So tune in if you're curious

Are you sure you really want to do this hun? It might be really stressful and upseting for you.
I tested after the trigger shot just to see the bfp, then i tested negative 8 days post ec and 2 days after that i got a faint bfp which has thankfully got darker. Good luck with whatever you do just don't take it too seriously if thats possible ;-)

Waiting would be far more stressful. As it is it's for a laugh and once the hormone is gone and I get a BFN it will be rather routine and calm to see the BFNs for days on end, if anything I won't be keeping my hopes that high up.

Besides I can't find any other examples of mad women having done thing online so I'd like to be first. I don't think this cycle will work so I may as well get a scientific experiment out of it Last but not least I LOVE POAS-ing, have done it for years with no chance, I can't avoid it now that I KNOW it will be positive even if for the wrong reasons hehe

I'll watch your experiment with interest. We can't get cheap testers here otherwise I'd do it too! I'm also ICSI#2 and having the embryo transfer on Saturday...

I believe i'm going to have to stalk your journey here as well! I ALSO am on round 2 but this time around we had a frozen cycle.... so a little different. I am currently 10 dptransfer and trying SO hard not to POAS.... well, not yet anyway. Mainly cause i'm almost out of my ic's

I've tested and will post pics later today.

Essentially nothing last night and a fair one with FMU but a more clear one with SMU, none of them a full blown BFP yet so that's for all of us to remember when we test early, even if the hormone is for sure in the system, it takes a long while for it to move from the blood stream to the urine.

In other news I'm alternating between full of energy and tired like mad. I mean fall asleep while walking tired. Oh and teary. Guess that's the killer combination between my progesterone and hGC so I have this to look forward to if this works

Hmmm still deciding what I ought to select to worry about in terms of tomorrow, that I will O early and they will miss it and by the time they open me I will have no eggies left, that EC will be terrible or that they will find no sperm? Maybe I ought to devise a system and rotate

You could worry about the drugs not knocking you out!!! It will all go perfect. No worries.... just POAS
