I have a Jacob and a Joshua..both are called Jake and Josh by us mostly. If I were going to get a tattoo then would get Joshua and Jacob..x

Ahh i know how you feel, My LO is called Robert after his Daddy but us and everyone else calls him Bobby. most people only know him as Bobby but i wont get Bobby tattooed cause i dont know if he'll want to be called Bobby when he can have a say!! I wouldnt get Robert though cause it just looks like its OHs name hahaha so ive decided againist!!

Id go for Jacob because he might not want to be called Jake when hes older!!

Id defo go with jacob, as that is his actual name, & when he grows he might hate people calling him Jake it would feel odd to me to have a nickname tatooed especially if he don't like it in years to come.

I thought most people got the proper name done when tattooing too

I've been thinking about this as well. LO has never been called her real name but don't know what I would want tattooed. I was thinking of having both drawn up and see which I like better.
