Why i have 2 min i will wright my birth story.....
On Tues 17th
i went to midwife for my sweep to try and set me off was getting really existed as i really thought i would go in to labour with in hrs of it. When she was doing the sweep she said i was 4cm with babies head really low but my cervix was still thick. So she did i go sweep and i went by my day trying to stay as up right as i could. I didn't get any pains or bleeding so was getting really down about it not working that night.
Weds 18th
woke up with loads and loads of thick mucus and that went on all day plus my bump seemed to of really dropped. At 7pm i got a few cntx but after 10min they went away. I was really thinking baby was not coming on time.
Thurs 19th Due day.
Woke with the kids and went about getting them ready for school baby wasn't moving much but he had slowed down a week before so didn't really worry to much. Took my son to school and came home and cleaned the house all the way from top to bottom. had a nap about 11am they made me and DS2 dinner when we was having dinner i got a really bad AF pain but didn't think much of it as it was just at the bottom on my bump and i wasn't going hard. But the af pains carried on but wasn't getting and more pain full or in a pattern. At 3pm we went and picked my DS1 up from school. Pains still there but nothing much. By 4pm i was getting sick of the pains and they just didn't seem to be doing any thing so i went and lie on the bed for a bit to see if they would go away or do some thing. I got up just after 5pm and went to the loo then felt like i couldn't get off as it was hurting. went down to DH about 5:45pm and the pains started coming fast and very pain full. We rang L&D and was told to go in. Got MIL to look after the kids and FIL to drive us. Got to L&D and checked over and was only 4cm but thinning out was given the G&A and hooked up to the monater to check on baby as he hadn't moved much that day. after 5 min the mw asked me to turn on my side as i did my waters went with a pop in my back. There was a lot of pooh in the waters so had to stay on the bed and hocked up to the monitor until baby was born. at 6:30pm was told i was ready to push then told not to as i was still only 5cm. Pain was coming on top of each other and was lasting at lest 1 min i was trying so hard to just think about breathing but the pain was to strong to not scream out. At 7:45pm i needed to push so bad so did and i could feel the babies head coming down it was so pain full to push i didn't want to but my body was doing it for me 1 more push and his head was out then his body. All 8lbs 15oz and just a 2hr birth
. He was not responding how he should the cord was raped around his neck and body so the mw whisked him away to rub him down but he wouldn't cry just wanted to look around. We got kept in for 12 hr obs as my temp was high and Jaden's breathing was rapid and as the pooh was really thick they had to make sure he cleared it. But was got to go home the next day and i now have a sleepy baby (long may it last)
