Jailbroken iPhone 4S?

depends which phone, how old etc etc

i would risk it with an old iphone 3g

but i wouldnt with a 4 or 4s as they would likely still be under warranty cover

Once you jailbreak an iphone you can no longer do software updates and for a brand new phone this wouldn't be a good idea for me, Apple are still ironing out problems with certain areas of their software like the battery life.

It's really not worth it hun

FOB did it on his very first Iphone (first one to come out) and he regretted doing it.
