Jake Benjamin?

Does anyone like this name?

Is it okay to name my son Jake and not Jacob? or is that like giving my son a permanent nick name?

i think it is fine to use a nick name as a "real" name. i just question how well Jake Benjamin flows.. jacob benjamin sounds better to me.

i think both ways sounds nice, if u named him jacob then u can always shorten it to jake

It doesn't flow well really in my opinion. It just seems flat.

hey hun, does it really matter if it doesnt flow as long as it means something to you, if we have a girl were namin here megan and for her middle name helma in memory of my mum, it doesnt flow but its not a full name its a first and middle name, for a boy we have decided on jake as well, not jacob, no idea for the middle name as yet but we will decided that closer to time of giving birth.

I think Jake rather than Jacob is fine, although I do agree Jacob Benjamin flows better but if there is meaning behind the name it doesn't matter.
