Jasper

I love the name Japser but asking around it really seems to divide people. Basically I'd like to know what you think. So far people have told us they think it's:
-posh
-different but not too 'out there'
-plain silly
-a cat's name
-makes them think of Jasper Carrot

All opinions welcome!

A lady at my work had a baby boy last year and called him Jasper, and up until then it did remind me of Jasper Carrot, but now its really grown on me and i do like it x

I really really really really love the name Jasper! It's really cute and it's a unique name without it being really over the top you know? Plus I know a few Jasper's so it's not like super random, you know? But yeah I definitely like it.

but i'm one that would see it as a pet name, i had a pet rat called jasper.

My little boy was going to be a Jasper and i still love it!

I also found it divided people but mostly people said it was ok or they liked it.

We ended up with Seth though as my partner suggested this and i loved it even more!

People are a bit divided on Ozzie's name because of Ozzy Osbourne but it didn't worry me too much because we wanted something different

My neighbour just named their boy Jasper. Not a common name so if you are looking for unique I think you will find it with this name.

For me personally I think it's a pet name but we named our dog Betty so I can't really say anything LOL x
