Well!! I had to have a planned section but i still thought i would put this up as some ladies that are going to have them may be interested to read!!
At 8am we arrived at the hospital, i was sooo nervous we got taken into a ward with other ladies that were getting induced! The nurse came in took bp etc and then gave me my gown! She came back in at around 8:30 and said your going in first so we will walk around to the thea rtre now!! (Nerves really did kick in now!!)
9am we were waiting in the recovery bit and i seen other mums with there babys after there sections so i really was excited/nervous! All sorts of different people came in to talk to me about the spinal etc!
9:30am i went to the toilet and when i came back hubby was dressed in the scrubs! he looked quite nice actually LOL!! Then a nice lady came and said they were ready for me!! They got me up on the bed put a drip in my hand and then it was the part i was dreading ... the spinal! To be honest it wasnt as bad as what i thought it was a sharp pain for around 5 seconds.. then i felt my bum going all hot then i couldnt feel my legs!!
10am i couldnt feel a thing now lol they were putting the anti septic thing on my tummy and hubby said Princess was going mad moving about and kicking she didnt like that i dont think!! The surgeon came in talked to me then said that was the first cut made.... it did feel like hours but it wasnt!
Hubby did look a few times but he said it was too much blood! Then all i heard the surgeon say was "hello little one oh dear look at her cord!!" I looked at hubby and he said its wrapped round 4 times!!! All i could say was is she ok? Then we heard her cry and hubby said shes got brown hair!! We got a quick flash at the curtain then she got put next to me got weighed and then got put on my chest!! It was love at first sight!
Jenna Carole Kathleen Hynd Arrived at 10:37am Weighing 5lbs 6oz!!
After 2 nights in the hospital we got home and slowly getting into a routine! Shes feeding every 4 hours now i did try breast feeding but she was too hungry and was finding it hard to latch on so now shes on bottles and doing very well!!
Heres piccies of our little princess who we love so much after nearly 2 years of ttc i cant actually believe shes here!!!
