I nearly fell off my chair.

"Its up to Gary to decide whats right and whats wrong"

:dohh:

Surely thats a massive insight into his sick and twisted brain.

Yeah it really does show how his mind worked in regards to things that we all know are morally and physically wrong. Its a pretty big admission of his own sense of right and wrong if the biggest issue he had with what Gary Glitter was doing was that he took his PC into PC World to get fixed and they were found...like Gary was the victim in all of this rather than the girls in the pictures he had.

Ive just read that too ^

But they dont actually name what the allegations are i dont think...i guess thats due to the gagging order.

I bet there must be hundreds of girls , not just 11 or so that have already come forward. He must have been doing it over decades .

All the kids that sat on his knee on Jim 'll fix it.

How can someone be so blatant and get away with it.

The film of him with Coleen Noleen is even more uncomftable to watch...she was 14 and you can see she really didn't want him near her...x

Janet street porter has now said she had heard of rumours about him. Why have so many people just brushed this under the carpet? I can't understand, it is a serious allegation.

Colleen Nolan said at the time it "wasn't something you talked about"

Which, it wasn't is the impression i get from parents/grandparents. It was just something that they hid away.

Like Coleen said, back then you didn't talk about things like this...

A husband raping his wife only became against the law in 1991...times were different back then.xx

Unfortunately, yeah those were different times. Free love reigned supreme. I remember my foster mum telling me that her uncle abused her back in the late sixties. She finally got up the courage to go to the police, and they gave her a clip round the ear, told her it was a terrible thing to make up about family, drove her home and made her tell her family what she had told him. It really was a different attitude towards those things back then, everyone knew they were happening, but nobody bothered to stop it.
