Hey,
I just need opinions really, basically heres situe, we moved to a biger house and we had a boy five a girl 7 and a baby now six months living in a two bed flat, wasn't in my name so partner sold it so we cld rent a three bed and get hb help. Well we've had a letter back saying we're not entitled to hb cos we abused the system and had adequate housing as they weren't taking my SD into consideration cos she's only there five days a week. ANyway I'm appealing as iun Child rights convention every child has rights regardless of having split families so bacially there talking pants. BUT in mean time we've gota to find a rent we can't afford. We are tied into a year contract unfortunately as well and weren't made aware there was no cool off period so we're stuck.
Anyway I applied for countless jobs and got nowhere, I found out I'm expecting again, no it wasn't planned but we don't agree with temination oursleves. (nothing against anybody's rigth to them though.) Well I got no where, so I applied for an nvq 2 in teaching assistant as I'm trying to be a teacher by due to fnancial reasons had to stop doing my degree so wnated to work within in a school so my ambition can be a reality.
Anyway I get a phonecall today asking me to an interview for a job I applied for ages ago, well obviously situe has changed completly and I can't do two days a week or weekend, I can't give up nvq cos I've gone through all application etc and tbh I don't want to, it's a means to an end so I can get a paid TA job in September, then continue with my degree only two years left then do paid teacher training so I have no intentions on seeking financial assistance all my life it's a temp measure to help us through a difficult time.
So sorry this is getting really long, basically do I go be honest with them tell them about my commitments or do I go not let anything up in hope they'll be offering me night time hours? I know I don't have to tell them about being preggers, but if I tell them abt my other commitments they might just dismiss me completly, so what do you reckon? If I did get offered the job and thats a big IF as this area is soooo hard to get jobs in then maybe they'd be fine with the night time hours I want. I know they open late and the evenings would suit me fine.
Thanks. xxx
