Linzi, are they ladies you met on here?! That should be fun!

No, they're from a local facebook group for mums in the area :) It went so well! Met some lovely ladies and will definitely be doing another one. I recommend hosting one or if you're ever invited to one, then go :) They're great to get out the house for a bit and meet some new people :)

Thank you very much :) Well, I'm a member of admin on the facebook group "Bishops Stortford Mummy Meetups!" and I arranged it through that for local mums, although the group is welcome to anyone :) I will be organising another meetup soon, in the mean time, here is the link to the group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/161966665059/ xxx

Hayfever is so bad :( Do any of you ladies know if I can take anything for it that is obviously safe?

Idk if it will help but you can take benadryl. My doctor recommends it to help me sleep because I had insomnia before being pregnant and it's very mild compared to prescriptions. Also tylenol if you need it.

Thanks Linzi im not sure bout the hayfever hope it clears up soon xx

I will try Benadryl, I also asked on a Facebook group and local honey is meant to do the trick because it helps you become immune to the pollen in your area? May try and find some! Also, I might consider acupuncture as it happens every year and its a medication free method.

Hi July Sunshines!

Hi there, I'm in Australia so my little July Sunshine will be born in Winter! I've made it through the 30-40o heat of summer and now the Autumn chill is starting to creep in. All my bubs have been winter babies so I've no idea what it's like to be approaching full term in the summer months. Hope you all keep comfortable and cool while I rug up! :)

I am loving the sunshine!!

I have to admit....its a bit hot...but i'm not complaining! I am rocking the maxi dresses at the moment. So comfortable.

Yesterday I had a day off from work and me and DH went to the park. I was very good and put my suncream on my arms and shoulders etc and I didn't burn :)

But....when I got home and took my sandals of I realised i'd totally forgot my feet!! They are all red criss crossed with white strap marks now!! oops.

The other bonus is its lovely and cool inside so I can sit out until i've had enough then retire inside for a bit. I love it!!

I hope it stays like this for the summer (maybe being a little to over enthusiastic there but never mind)

I am thinking that I might have to invest in a fan though. I dont have one and our bedroom is a bit humid at night.

N xx

I'm also having swelling in my feet, but apart from that I'm lovin' the sunshine!

I cant get the sinshine link to work on my siggy :(

It just copies the writing. Ive tried it with and without the *s :s
x

Edit: done it :) I missed out a bit when I copied it! x

I am loving the sunshine too! I am getting so hot and find work really hard in the heat but dont want to complain! Also hoping it lasts as long as possible!!

Its definately meant to last over the weekend thats thats fab - maxi dresses and flip flops all the way this weekend :)

I have updated again ladies, sorry I haven't been on, been building bits for the nursery :o Well, watching my OH and mum and dad while I make the tea ;)

Isn't this weather beautiful! I love it, I try and go for a walk everyday in it and then just boost up my tan ;) Hope you're all comfortable in the heat aswell, I'm only uncomfortable at night and when I'm sitting down for long periods of time.

<3

Its just lovely isnt it! I need a cold bottle of water with me at all times tho as Im getting so dehydrated!
Been living in maxi dresses, they are so cool & look cute with a bump!

Cant believe its only 30 odd days till my due date, and we move at the weekend ( scotland to essex!) so I have alot to keep me busy!

Hope everyone is doing good! Cant wait to hear about the first July Sunshine baby! xxx
