I work in walmart in customer service and I have been seeing the same family come in for about 2 years now.
They have two sons who both suffer for epilepsy and non verbal autism.
Today they came in with their youngest son who I believe is 8, I asked mom and dad about his new medication and how he was adapting and we chatted for a while. When we were done their son wouldn't leave because he wanted to run back and hug me. I think that honestly made my whole entire month because they say that he has trouble remembering people that he sees on a daily basis yet I feel like he remembered me. After a long week and a really bad day he just warmed my heart. It may be my hormones but it honestly made me cry tears of joy.
