Just a quick qu...

Ever since i got mastitis in my left breast about 4 months ago, my daughter never feeds from it for very long at all. I can always tell when she's fed up as she'll start popping on and off all the time. Swap her to the other side and she'll guzzle so it's not that she's not hungry. On odd occasions maybe once every 2nd or 3rd day she will take a big feed from it.

my qu is; if she isn't draining it properly is this going to cause me any damage or problems in the future? Should i perhaps express to clear it? I don't feel engorged or anything (haven't for a few months in either breast) and i don't leak either so i'm not experincing any problems currently that i'm aware of but long term

Hope that doesn't seem to dumb qu :dohh:

This is no help but just so you know you're not the only one, Caitlyn is the same with my right breast but she's old enough to sort herself out  Only problem is, when she's due a feed from my left it's twice the size of the right.

lol! i'm quite lucky in that my right is only marginally bigger than my left, only i notice it...i hope anyway

The boob will adjust it's self to just produce what she takes so I wouldnt be overly concerned if it's not causing you any issues. :D
