..in the second trimester u have little miestones to get to..12 week scan..20 week scan..viable at 24 weeks..getting in to double digits and 27 weeks....

i was just wondering if when i come over to third tri (in 2 weeks YAY) is there any milestones that u count down to????

i think the next main one is 37 weeks when baby isnt considered premature anymore. x

I counted down to maternity leave and 37 weeks as its classed as full term, and now of course i'm counting down to the birth :haha: x

Im counting down to mat leave and being full term at 37 weeks, and obviously due date if i get to it

The milestones make it go quicker for me so ive broken it down to....
30 weeks-DONE
32 weeks
34 weeks
37 weeks
due date!

lol xx

Yep... as above really.

It all goes so fast as soon as you hit second tri....Only seems like last week i was excited to be posting in second tri now im dipping my toes in third tri!

Having two older children at school I'm counting down to the start of their holidays, then I know its only another 5 weeks and with them about things will go by quickly. Before they break up there are endless trips, sports days, discos partys and trips to secondary school as my eldest moves up in september so hopefully things will fly by quickly.

I've broken it down to 30 weeks, starting mat leave, being full term at 37 weeks and due date.

I love having these little milestones too. I tend to include all my midwife appointments in my milestones as well even though they are only teeny ones rather than significant ones. Other than that:

31+4 - last day at work!
32 weeks - scan (had low lying placenta at 20 week one)
37 weeks - full term
40 weeks - baby due!

Likewise but with a few extra

My milestones were...

mat leave (30 weeks)
35 + 5 days - moving into last box of ticker (I cling on the little things lol!)
Full term - 37 weeks
10 days to go
5 days to go
Due Date

I also took every Sunday as a milestone as it brought baby one week closer :happydance:

Does this count?? The next chapter in my pregnancy book?? Lol.

It has chapters for each month so i'm in the 7th month (28 to 31 weeks) and the next chapter is at 32 to 35 weeks, now that i'm 30 weeks my milestone is reaching the next chapter Lol

There are soooo many things you can count as milestones, especially if you are comparing to someone else. My mum gave birth to my little bros at 30 weeks, so that was a big one for me to get to and past. Here is my list:

30 (boys born & growth scan)
31+1 (you move to the second last ticker box)
Baby Shower
35ish (move to the final ticker box)
37 officially term
single digits
due date
