they are cutting off our electricity.. we have to move in with the in laws until ti is payed.
we cant afford anything have debts and life just sucks!!
just wanted some shoulders

ask for a prepayment meter that will take some of the money each week to clear ur debts x

Hey

I haven't been in your situation but right now am living on whatever we have in the freezer and cupboards (which isn't much!) until next week, we literally have no money

The prepayment meter is a really good idea, we have one and its really good, my OH puts around 35 pounds a month on and we can see when we are running out of it etc so have a bit of warning.

It's made us watch what we use as you can literally see the money going down so we switch lights off etc more than we used to.

The only issue with prepayment meters is that you WILL pay more over the course of the year for the same electricity as post payment one. We have been paying about £50 a month post pay for the same amount as we were previously paying about £80 for on a pre-payment meter!!
