I'm not interested in specifics LOL like usernames or reasons or anything but for all reasons.. how many people would you say you ban in a week/month/year?

Just wondering how many naughty people you guys have to deal with

Not really that many real members to be honest. We do ban alot of spammers that try to spam the heck out of bnb but get cought up in the spam filters But really, real bans dont come that often.

I think Ive only seen 3 maybe 4 real bans in the time I have been here. Two were fakers.

why do people try and spam bnb?

I reckon about 10+ spammers get banned a day. Maybe 1 member gets banned a month (on avarage), for many different reasons & most are fakers/newbie flamers.

BabyandBump gets over 6 millions hits a month so is a big target for spammers to try sneak in URL's and advertising (half of it you really really would never want to see. Anything to Hardcore Porn to Troll/Flaming literature). We have some pretty clever spam software (I designed it so it must be great ) which stops 99% of spam from ever getting onto the forum.

As for naughty people; we don't always automatically ban. Some we let slide depending on what happened.
