I'm nowhere near weaning my 3 month old, but I'm trying to get an understanding of tw before the time comes. I'm really wondering how you wean and ebf? How do you know when to nurse or offer a solid?

we're doing blw so you just offer food at mealtimes. i tend to nurse when he wakes in the morning, or wakes from a nap, and then food at mealtimes which tends to be half and hour to an hour later.
i don't think there's a particular rule, just go with what feels right!

You sort of have to experiment because it depends on the baby. Some do better with nursing first, some take their solids first and follow up with bm or bottle.

I was told to nurse before a meal initially as I was BLW and they don't eat much to start with. About a month and a half in I switched it round to get him to start eating more solids.
