Just finished BF . . .

and my DD is weaning and taking bottles now but she's barely making it 2 hours between bottles of 8/9oz I didn't expect this. She's also taking quite a few solids during the day too so with all this milk on top could it be a growth spurt? It was easier to tell when BF because she'd just scream if you dared to take her off the boob She doesn't scream when the bottle's empty, she just wants another one not long after

Imogen was having eleven oz bottles at about six months, only for a few weeks until she started eating more solids, then it went down to seven oz bottles again.

Is she pining for more at her feeds? Molly went through a phase of having 1 big bottle and a few ounces in a little one and then like above, once she upped her food, her milk feeds dropped substantially. In 3 weeks she went from 4 feeds to 2 and the 2 were less too.

Are you offering her any water? She might be drinking so much because shes thirsty.

^^ good point Molly's always had water throughout the day from her cup since weaning.
