Hey girlies! I'm new to pregnancy and this forum. I am going to be a single mother but the father is still in our lives, everything's so hectic and it already feels like I've been pregnant for weeks yet I only found out THREE days ago!

Any advice?
This has been a massive shock for everyone.
I'm so happy but this is all scary and new to me.

<3

Congratulations and welcome! My name is Clair, I'm 18 and my son, Jason is 6 months old on the 27th :)
I hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months! :flower:

Hey, I'm Violet, I'm 17 and I'm around 7 weeks pregnant :)
Congratulations.
I'm also going to be a single mother. I was never with my FOB, but we've been best friends for years and he's going to be in my babies life too. For me it feels like I've just found out even though its been a week and a half now. Although I guess thats still not that long ago.

Honestly, I'm not that happy about thsi situation yet, but I hope I get over the shock soon, because I do want to be happy. I'm just scared and surprised still.

Thankyou girls. :)
Im ashlee and 17. I am also in a not very nice situation. My ex and I have been.through ALOT. We were together for two years and broke up ten days before I found out. We werent even speaking and werent planning on it.. He has cheated on me in the past and just before we broke up and weve been through restraining orders and all in the last year but I told him anyway. He deserved to know. Hes upset and trying to prove to me he made alot of mistakes, hes slowly getting there in the last few days. He rubs my belly and all so I can tell he cares alot about us.. Its just a terrible situation. I dont want to.get back with him but he wants to get back together but for me itd feel like were getting together for the babies sake. I want the best for my bubba but my ex and I getting back together isnt a good choice.. We fought all the time anyway and I cant have the stress of that now or after bubba is born. Teenage pregnancy is a very crazy situation to be in. Especially when you have to be a single mum.

:hugs:
Sometimes it's better off to do things on your own, I'm sure you'll make a fab single mummy! :flow:

 Hi Ashlee! Congrads and welcome to bnb.
My name is Lovey also 17 and will be also a single mom to a lil boy soon:). Sometimes its just better that way. I know if I stayed with FOB I'll turn into a nut job:wacko: but I'm really glad his there for the both of yal:thumbup:..I know how you feel. When I first found I was pregnant it didn't settle in I was way to shocked:dohh: only got used to the idea that I'm pregnant at 14 weeks when I had an ultrasound done:dohh:

I guess that's true but in this case, being 17 years old, having parents that work full time, not many close friends and working about 20 hours a week myself will make it hard although, even though I'm only 17 I've been wanting to be a stay-at-home-mummy since I was little - That was always my career choice and my ex works full-time aswell so whether I like it or not, I will be doing it alone.

Hi Lovey! :) Well I just realized today I calculated my due date wrong - I'm exactly six weeks pregnant today and already showing! :) I have the cutest little bump. I calculated my due date from the last day of my menstrual period instead of my first. Whoops. But they will confirm that at my ultrasound in FOUR days! :D Yeah, at least he's here for us and he has spent money on us already and has spent everyday with me since he found out so he's here for support I guess, but he's always doing this for me so I feel useless and incapable. I'm pregnant, not disabled. Lol. I can do things myself... but I guess I shouldn't be complaining about that hey when there's others that hate doing everything for themselves with no help. Yeah, when I found out I was pregnant, I cried and was so shocked and scared but now I'm just so excited! Oh really? Yeah, I get my first one this week so hopefully reality hits me properly then! I get to see my bubba and hear their heatbeat which I'll cry, no doubt about it. :)
