I hope that someone here will have some words of wisdom as i wait to start my journey into conception with clomid.
I have PCOS - diagnosed about 5 years ago. I have a 4 year old son and a 3 year old son - both miraculously conceived without assistance from Clomid!
Now i am TTC number 3 and having a tough time. I went to the fertility specialist and he prescribed me Clomid yesterday.
His instructions were as follows: Cd5-9 one tablet of 50mg clomid. BD a lot CD 12-20. Progesterone blood work CD24. Expect period around CD33-35. If no period CD40 call him and he will look at my progesterone results. If i in fact ovulated (shows by progesterone results) and still no period then he'll send me for a Beta HcG. If i didn't ovulate he will have me up the dose to 100 mg for the next round and repeat the process.
Do any of you lovely ladies have any insight into the process. Any words of wisdom, success stories etc that you might like to share?
