Just had a sweep

I had a sweep about half an hour ago and apparently I'm already 3-4cm dilated and my waters are bulging. The midwife was even able to touch babies head! Is it weird that I am kinda jealous that she was able to touch him or her before me? Lol, anyway I hope this means that I'll go into labour really soon! Please send some labour dust my way!

Have a feel yourself! clean hands and squat or have a go in the bath but be gentle - dont want to break your waters!

Thats excellent! Very favourable indeed! Bulging membranes....they may just go on their own then. But be careful if you do get tempted to have a feel he he, not saying you will, if the waters are bulging then if you would probably have to apply pressure to the bag to feel baby's head as the bag wouldn't be against little ones head so you may have to push into the bag. All the best!
