Scary I know!!
On Monday, my DH and I are off to Bluewater to do our christmas shopping :happydance:
I have harvested tonnes of milk and Oliver is happy taking it from the bottle - Karl bottlefeeds him one feed a day to make sure he is happy with it, just in case.
Anyway, I was so pleased that this will work (in theory), but forgot about my boobs during the day!! Will I need to express while I'm there, even though it's only a few hours? He mostly has big feeds first thing in the morning and in the evening, so he should only need a couple of feeds max while we're there.
Or shall I just drink tonnes and let my body stock pile for the evening?
What do you think?

Toria is right. Although I have never expressed milk when Alexa missed a feed during the day if I substituted a bottle, and I was fine, but when she would be drinking her bottle, my milk would let down, and it would hurt so bad-then of course I would have full boobs when I got home and that's an ouch factor as well-so if you can, express, it will keep your milk supply on schedule, and you won't be having sore boobs from milk build-up.

Well, if I have to go somwhere to express, I may as well feed him. Seems a bit silly, me expressing in a shopping centre, while daddy gives him a bottle.

I was thinking that too. Save your 'stash' for times when he's not with you abd you need to leave him. :)

You'll probably find that there is a nursing room there so that might make it a bit easier. Our local shopping centre has an ace one. Really private and cosey! x

Thanks! I've just checked the website and apparently they have family rooms, which are for feeding/nappy changes etc. If they're full, then I'll head to Mothercare.

Excellent. Let us know how you get on, won't you? x
