Nope, I get paid every other Thursday. I used to get £94 a fortnight so I'm glad it's gone up, but I'm annoyed they told me I would get more. But whatever

I dont no whether to cancel my claim now.... i mean he would never take me too court...but *IF* he did by some miricle down the line, he would get access even though he has never seen her? just because he is paying maintenance?

You think it would look badly on him because im having to get the csa to force it out of him...

Its not about the money for me either, i would rather he was a decent dad... I just cant afford not too

He would most probably get access, don't worry it would never be full custody or anything, but he certainly would get supervised access simply because he has not seen the LO so they would do supervised access to help build a bond between them. Regardless of being forced to pay or not, he is paying, so in future, they will see he is paying and that will go in his favour.


The child’s father does however have to pay Child Support on demand, but is entitled to apply for a Parental Responsibility Order if the mother of the child is unwilling to agree to a Parental Responsibility Agreement.

If he is not wanting access, I would not worry too much.
