Just need some advice about cycles/ovulating

Right i got my OPK today.. not sure if its too late

but i did my FMU in a container it was only about an hour before the post came..
but it came up with a blank smiley .. i have a thing about looking at the lines aswell
like on digi pregnancy tests even though it apparently means nothing?

but i don't know if i must of already OV'ed? because on the info it comes with it says to count from my first day of LMP and then theres a chart and under how long your cycle is it says a number and it says thats the day youll most likly get a smiley.. mine says under 25 .. 8 but that would of been well too early so im confused should i take the tests a few more days? and see what i get and if still blank ill take it iv ovulated already?

My temp has gone from 100.2 yesterday to 98.4 today aswell so i think if i took a test yesterday i would of got a smiley? just because my temp was so high and went rapidly down again

I've read you're not supposed to use FMU as LH is way more concentrated in the afternoon. What CD are you on? Are you taking your temperature at the same time each morning as soon as you wake up? That's very very high for a basal body/waking temp. If you're not taking your waking temp at the same time every morning, then the temps don't matter as your temp changes all throughout the day and many factors can effect it xx

I was temping soon as i got up same everyday so not sure
might of done it wrong as iv never done it before but i stopped after i last
posted because i think i ovulated when i thought as i got blanks on opk's since
wednesday till today.. but i used FMU so now i don't know if i have done them wrong?

But we BD most of this month so i think we will be covered.. i hope anyway im 5dpo
now as far as i think anyway, theres no way i can ovulate now or any later or it wouldn't
make sense

Hey have been reading your thread and thought i'd jump in and give you some pointers xxx

Regarding temping... you need a basal thermometer that reads like 36.80 not 36.8 it gives a more accurate read out... and you need to take it the same time every morning before you even move....so have it at arms reach and slip it straight into your mouth (unless your vag or retal temping) when it beeps then you can move....seems extreme but when you start moving, talking anything your temp will rise.....
cannot advise on what your pre ov and post ov temps should be they are different for everyone but mine are pre ov between 35.70-36.10 then post ov between 36.50 +
when you are in your post ov you might see a drop on 7dpo (could be implant) you might not...varies person to person it should rise the day after and when your temp drop later on your af is gonna show...if it stays raised for 16+ days there is a good chance you could be preggo.....

Regarding opks they should be done between 10am and 8pm with wee you have held for a few hours.
